House Retreat – Spring 2019 – Falmouth, MA

Each year we try to get out of town to spend quality time together as a group of people living together in cooperative culture. Usually we call the outing a “retreat” and try to take two nights so we have at least one full day away. By being out of the house, we all dedicate time and attention to cultivating our relationships among one another, and taking time to learn more and more about each other.

We also usually set up some time to focus on group process or to address issues going on for our community. Sometimes this is visioning and looking at our house mission, sometimes hearing stories about where we come from, sometimes it’s dedicating time to process things that have gone on as a community, together.

Quite often, it is a lot of fun!

This particular episode was pretty rainy when we arrived Friday night, but it turned out nice on Saturday, and we were within walking distance of the beach.

House Retreat is always a real positive experience for the Cambridge Cooperative Club! Can’t wait for the next one!
