On October 4th, the coop hosted a discussion and screening of “Gaza is Floating,” a new short film from LifeSource about how the Israeli siege is leading to a sanitation disaster in Gaza, causing environmental catastrophe and human tragedy. Susan Koppelman from LifeSource was there and lead a discussion on how the complicity of Israeli institutions, international donors and even the Palestinian Authority in Israeli violations of Palestinians’ human right to water compels us as individuals to get involved in the campaign for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel.
